Wrexham will not roll over
Wrexham's recent record is less spectacular but just as relevant. They have lost only once in their last five Championship matches, conceding four goals and keeping clean sheets away to Swansea City and Millwall.
A 3-0 win at Millwall showed they can carry a threat on the road. Draws against Watford, Swansea and Burnley also point to a side capable of staying in matches even when the occasion turns demanding.

West Ham's attack is in the better rhythm, but Wrexham's recent defensive numbers make patience important. If the hosts score early, the London Stadium could settle into an enjoyable evening. If Wrexham frustrate them, every misplaced pass will add a little more tension.
This is the attraction of the fixture: a side playing with attacking confidence against opponents who have become hard to shift. West Ham should carry the greater threat, but they may have to work for the openings.
